Bullying is defined as intentionally inflicting or attempting to inflict injury or discomfort upon another, repeatedly and over time.

If you believe you were a bully or were bullied before the age of 18 and are currently in a relationship, please participate in my research study. I am evaluating the long term effects of bullying and victimization on romantic partnerships.

You will be asked to complete a survey. Participants need to be between the ages of 18-40 and be in a committed relationship. All answers will be kept confidential.

If you would like to participate, please email me at [email protected] and I will send you the survey in either Word or PDF format, whichever you prefer. The files were too large to attach.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Lara

I am a 21 year old female, got bullied when I was younger and am in a relationship of 2 years. I am happy to share my experience of how I feel it affects my relationship.

I grew up in a tough neighborhood where someone was always getting bullied. It became part of the fabric of life so any bullying I withstood in childhood never really affected me as an adult. Until recently, I just thought bullying was something that everyone went through at one time or another. I never felt especially picked on.
