Glyco/Robinul tolerance

I have been taking 4 mg of glyco on an empty stomach every Monday-Friday first thing in the morning for a few months now. Occasionally, I take it at the weekend if I am seeing friends. It works really well, but recently I have found that it has reduced effect, I am building tolerance. Even though I give myself most weekends off and I only use it once a day.

Does anyone know how to stop this? I want the drug to start working again as it did previously as it didn't hold me back and I found happiness!

Hi @TLB,

To me the same thing happend when I took glyco in 2014. The first week I took 1mg and it worked great! But in the second week I had to take 2 mg because the sweating started again. And in the third week I took 3 mg, and after that I just didn't take more. And I stopped taking it.

A few weeks ago I took glyco again, because I thought maybe it will work again as it did in 2014 in the first week. I tried it for 2 days, and took 1mg. But it just did not work like I wanted it to work unfortunately. And stopped taking it.

The same thing happened to me, it worked well for a couple of months, then I noticed the reduced effect. I eventually stopped taking them, and went through a bit of hell looking for other treatments to provide some relief. I decided to give them a go about 5 months later, and has worked wonders since! I'm trying to grow out of using Robinul. I now use a iontophoresis for my hands & feet, but still take the Robinul for my underarms, which helps tremendously I must say. Since the long term effects are still relatively unknown with taking Robinul daily for years, and some saying it effecting the brain, I want to move away from it.

Anyways, I wish the best of luck for you! I hope the Robinul works for you again, or that you find another treatment/remedy that does, good luck, lad!
