Generalised hh

Hey! Ive never posted before, but I've read a few posts. This year my hh is really getting me down and I feel like I'm trailing behind because of it. I really want to move to Spain to be with my family but I suffer from generalised hh!! The only part of me which doesn't sweat is my hands and feet. I have tried all the roll ons, sprays, all herbal remedies like black cohosh, sage. I've had acupuncture and Chinese herbs. None of them work. I did buy advert or similar from pharmacy.ca 3 years ago. They did make me dry but my hands felt like they were going to pop they were so dry. And my contacts were stuck to my eye lids. Lol.

The weather in uk is really hot just now and if I drive anywhere, my tshirt is stuck to my back. I wear black constantly, which makes it worse. So I can't imagine how my life would be if I finally got my dream and moved to Spain.

I'm just so unhappy. And I guess you guys are the only ones that can understand. Do any of you have advice? Especially with advert. If I take it daily will I get used to it? My hh is weird, I can control it sometimes. But in hot weather I can't. My worst area is my torso. Neck, back, stomach.

Thank you for any advice or help. Or even just for reading.

We have lot's of advice for advert. Just read tons of the back posts. Sorry you have generalized HH. I get the sweats all over during the summer months also. There are various ways to hide it that people post about. I will use certain dri, odaban on different areas of the body when needed just to get a break from the annoyance of sweating. It sucks when you walk around and it feels like you just soaked your pants.

It's "Avert".

Got stuck waiting in an airless humid hall today--sweat dripping down my neck. Not as bad as in the "old days", but an unpleasant reminder.

Oops. I did mean avert. Stupid predictive text on my phone!! I have bought some anyway. Thanks for advice. I know there will be times when I'm caught out, but then it'll just look normal, rater than when I'm out shopping and its snowing outside and I've got sweat running down my face!! People must think its bizarre.

Also I wanted to ask, has anyone found weight loss helps? I am overweight. Bit I see people bigger than me that don't sweat. So I really don't think it's that. I'm not hugely obese. I'm like a uk 16-18... Just a thought?

I have generalized HH I've had 2 ETS surgerys nd its worse thn ever like you said torso, back feels like you've wet your self gravity is a bitch! All I can say is DON'T! get the op please even if offerd I struggle to keep my concentration at times some of my posts are random as hell.. don't drink as much tea or coffee nd maybe change a couple of thing you eat.. my problem is putting weight on this HH strips it off me sum days I won't eat out of frustration with HH. I've thought long nd hard about exercise nd wen I trained its like the pressure the muscle mass put on my chest nd bk it kinda nips the nerve in ya back Crazy but who knows the doctors don't know much as its all just an educated guess like most things in life. Hope you read this nd find it helps if not you have my support :) gud luck

a generalized hh is heavy to treat, i heard of s "stanger bath" , runs with current, medications lead often to heavy side effects. was there a certain trigger for your hh - started it suddenly, and whn yes, what do you think has caused this? maybe this is a way to get a solutio`n?

I'm sort of heavy too--don't think it HELPS with the sweating, but true HH seems to be a law unto itself. I developed it fairly late, was the same weight for many years before. Lots of things happened which MIGHT have contributed, but who knows?

If you'd like to lose weight, go for it, but no guarantees it will "cure" HH.
