FF13 was garbage, I didn't even beat it, I got to the chapter where you can finally go and do whatever you want instead of following the linear pathways. Got sick and tired of the game near the end.

Nier was an awesome RPG, and a million times better than FF13. Now that Nobuo Uematsu is done composing for FF, the games themselves turned to crap as well. The old teams that made FF amazing, are old and retiring one by one. I've bought every FF up to 13 except 11, and I've finally had it. XI was garbage because FF should not ever be MMO, XII was alright but not as good as 1-10, 14 is MMO again WHY? I am so upset that FF has outgrown me.

I completely agree with you. I play mmo but ff should have never had an mmo. They have to stop with those graphical showcase and go back to their old direction. I would be a lot happier if they ff 15 was a copy of what 1 -10 were like to something similar to ff 13

reminded of star wars :)
yeah you're right though i didn't mind FF13 except for when it started dragging towards the end, which could've been happier in my opinion

I want a FF7 remake for PS3 because as graphics get better I am fully cognizant of the limitations of previous technology and find it hard to go backwards.

I hear that. I bought FF7, 8, and 9 on PSN and can't commit to beating any of them again. Maybe because of the graphics, maybe because I've done it before, maybe because random battles get annoying and take a lot of loading time before and after. If they remade 7 in 1080p and no loading times, I'd buy it and complete it again.

Eh strange, I think it's the opposite for me, I love the old school games... I cannot commit myself to the new FF games anymore, I think it's been overdone graphically and to me they all look similar now... After FFX I just lost it.

I've been playing the hell out of GT5 lately...some pics of mine. I have tons more but I won't annoy you RPG-ers with racing game pics lol

I did just get Star Ocean on PS3 from Amazon since it was $29.99 the other day, but I won't get around to it for a while.

Nissan fanboy warning

Old, but great. :D Are they underrated in GT5 too ? I found them pretty slow in GT3-4.

it depends on what you compare it to. I never drove one in real life, but in stock form I'm sure it performs around the same. Mine has something like 500hp right now though, and 200kg lighter :) I need to take it out for a drift session when I'm not feeling lazy and doing B-spec races for cash. I need to save for one of those multi-million dollar racecars for a few events, but I keep seeing awesome rare cars in the Used lots that I must have...

also I retract my statement about how FF has outgrown me. I plan to purchase FFXIV for PS3 in March as long as it's not a pay-per-month thing. As much as I hate MMO's, I can't resist the urge to punish myself with another potentially disastrous FF.

square enix said that it would take too long to make. Look at final fantasy 13, the game has gorgious visual but it's very linear, except for chapter 11. It took them about 5 years to make the game ( sure a lot of time went on the engine and the fact that the game was supposed to be for the ps2). basically it would take them ages, and square enix is very lazy.

it took Polyphony Digital 6 years to make GT5 and it's pretty flawed. They spent more time on the cars' physics and less on the XP system. It feels like I'm playing call of duty when I have to do the same races over and over to level up. There should've been more races implemented, like in GT2 and 4, there were hundreds. Now there's not even 100...
