I'm on the EU server... I'm rarely playing the game as my pc is crap... So i go to the gaming network and give it a shot on occasions.. It makes the original SC playing style obsolete.. Im still getting a hand on the units, tech tree, etc... I feel comfy with the Terran for the mean time..

What strategy are you using? 1/1/1? 4 rax reapers into marauders against zerg? Mech? Do you play Broodwar too? You know of the old Bisu build?
I think the 1/1/1 into vikings may be able to do well too. Haha... too bad you're on the EU server, we could have done some 2v2!

Give me a break; I just started actually playing RTS a couple of months ago and SC2 a few days ago...
Yes i started with brood war 1st; i learned fast yet my APM isnt that good and lack a bit of attention so i have some difficulty catching up with decent players.
I discovered ICCUP and most players there r quite good so im losing almost all of the time yet im learning something new everytime.. I watched replays and played with a couple of pros and they told me im really good for a noob, just a matter of time for me to catch up.. Well it was some good journey so far..
I was automatically set on the EU server.. I didnt know how to change it..

The only times I've played it online is when I have made the maps myself and made it so that I have a huge advantage so I can win, because that's the only way I can win
I'm way too slow, and I get very panicky and before I know it they've blown up my base! Although one time I even got beaten on a map I made in my favour, which was very humiliating. I realised what a failure I was at RTS games when that happened lol however I still play them a lot on single player campaigns because I enjoy the concept.

The point of the game is just to have fun! No problems. PM me if you want some 2v2 or compstomping action. I'm a little rusty, but I can play the game... but just don't be too mad if my conn sucks as the service providers here are just terrible with their stuff.

Multitasking and all that isn't as tough in SC2... It's actually quite easy to get into gold league and platinum if you can survive cheese and watch the replays... I'm sure you'll do pretty good.
Hmm... I don't think there's a way to change the EU server though. It'd be nice to get some 2v2...
