food for thought!

Imagine a few extroverted individuals, living in a world full of introverted people.

What would happen?

Probably they would be considered strange beings with some kind of mental illness and certainly some chemicals would be produced to treat them. They would not be able to cope with isolation and they would feel very guilty for that.

This is for the ones who (like me) enjoy sometimes a good dosage of self-contempt.

Do not feel guilty for being different. Mental disease is just a matter of perspective and quantity.
It just happened (unfortunately) we were born in a world where one has to deal with people in order to survive.

Thats an excellent point you got there, i've got a mental image in my head now of these people being sedated because they talk to much and are to socially active

Everybody,

you seriously need to drop the belief that social anxiety is an illness that you just have and can't get rid of.

Imagine that you always bite your tongue when you can. You don't have to bite your tongue of course, but if you believed that you hate the Tongue Biting Illness, and also believed that this could not be cured, you would keep biting your tongue.

THINK ABOUT IT!

Hey! i thought about that about a month. But i didn't post it.
But yea, it's pretty interesting, yet strange.

Just like the way people perceive something that does not have a concrete picture to it and has never been seen by the human eye - or treated as a fact or truth. Kind of what Aliens are so. Like the way people draw aliens, with their big heads n small bodies, when almost nobody can come out and say "Okay, that IS what it is."

So in this "Un-social anxiety" being referred here... it's just.. wow, what a cool thing it would be for us, yet so unreal and way off our general knowledge of the world. Heh.. but yes, it would be cool if such a thing existed for us.
