Hey Gr82bme,

I just got some Celtic Sea Salt, and I wanted to know how much water you mix the 1/2 teaspoon with? I guess I used too much water because I tried it last night with a full glass and every gulp was pretty rough. Do you just put it in a shot amount of water?

i dont know what the correct amout is but lately ive just been putting the salt in my mouth then tkaing a big gulf of water to flush it down. then finishing off the water in the glass. its alooot easier than mixing it with water. jus faster to get it all down in one shot

I put it in an empty capsul and drink a glass of water

How long after you started the supplementation did it take for you to see a difference?

Though this is a really interesting post and, in theory, does carry sense. I think someone should point out that the thread creator has a history of thyroid problems and therefor the solution he has found is in response to this.

Though over/under-active thyroids are a cause of hyperhydrosis they are by no means the only or major cause. I, for example, have been tested for thyroid problems on multiple occasions due to my hyperhydrosis but the results are always completely normal.

I am really happy for you that this has worked and I don't mean to be a bummer but I just wanted to throw a little caution to the win for those reading this before they start messing with their adrenal levels and sinking salt like theres no tomorrow... especially as to much salt can lead to problems with arteries, blood pressure and, ultimately, your heart amongst other things.

Well done though, you must be feeling about as good as it gets right now.

:)

As I stated in my first post I started sweating when I was 11. I didn't have thyroid problems when I was 11. I was in my 20's. This has not helped my thyroid but did help my hyperhidrosis and my adrenals. I am by no means taking LARGE amounts of salt.

Are you sure your adrenal levels are okay?

Chill.

I was simply making a point as this forum is read by kids and people who need to watch their salt intake.

enjoy your new found happiness and thank you for sharing your experience.

I agree with what Knickerless has to say. I think if one wants to try this salt solution, maybe consider consulting your doctor first? I've had HH since age 5 that I can remember. I also was tested for everything under the sun. I always drank a lot of water and peed a lot. Excessive salt makes me thirsty, which causes me to drink more and pee more.

On another thought, maybe some of us with entire body HH require more salt since we sweat so much of it out.

I've been taking this salt for 3 days now and I'm noticing significant difference(I think).
Thing is I'm under botox treatment but it's not working so well and it wears off after 1 month~ when I take around 500 units. So now it is successively wearing off and since I've been taking the salt I notice that it has reduced the sweat or atleast reduced the wearoff of the botox.

Although I've made some changes in diet in company to taking the salt aswell.

I have palmoplantar hyperhidrosis btw.

I have now received my supplement and grey salt so all I am waiting for is the empty pill box's and then I am going to give this a go myself so I shall report my results to everyone along the way.

I tried swallowing the salt on its own and in water and I know I can't be doing that twice a day so I'm taking the pill route.

I'm not holding our to much hope as my hh is generalised, that said, its all natural ingredients and I'm a relatively healthy 29 year old so a few weeks won't do any harm.

This sounds interesting. When I went to an endocronlogist, he said all my glands were normal so I'm hesitant to try this... I'm looking forward to seeing other people's results and would like to see if they have any luck, then i might try it..

Also, original poster, you said in your first post your hands were dry in 2 days after you started the salt and adrenal treatment, and when someone asked later, you said it took a week? Did you start the salt/adrenal treatment at the same time?

That does sound confusing. After the 2 days I noticed a difference but I was still sweating just not as much. Then after a week I wasn't sweating...

Thank you for everyone who keeps posting their progress. I look forward to finding out if more people are cured this way.

I am on day 3 of 1 x flat teaspoon of celtic seal salt twice a day and 1 x adrenalize tablets 3 times a day (as recommended on the pack) and have not noticed any difference in my HH at this point.

I've had 2 ops nd had my sympathetic nerve taken away from me docs have tried a lot of meds with me, nd no change apart from banging headaches nd increase in body temp. Feels like I'm gona pass out so I've stopped taking my meds, any idea as my research has nd still is leading me up the garden path.. ive got another medical coming up Nxt month nd I'm thinking of creating a siege if I'm told I'm fit nd healthy for work as my mental stage with HH has hit its all time low. I think a prison cell is starting to look good atm. I can't stand ppls opinions on HH, unless you've got it thn ya don't know ****, plus with 2 ops under my belt I think I deserve a place on the sick wether it be under physical condition or like so many of us now mental condition too. Any response would be good.
