1. take a hotdog out of the package
2. wrap it in a slice of cheese
3. (optional) dip in a jar of mustard or favorite sauce
4. eat

no cooking, no dishes, no clean up - and it's gluten-free! :kiss:

i just discovered a really good hotdog - Oscar Meyer Select Smoked Uncured Angus Beef Franks

no artificial preservatives, nitrates or nitrites; low sodium; no fillers - good stuff:

WHAT THAT'S AMAZING!?!?!? thanks you so much man i am a really really healthy eater and i don't eat any foods with artificial colors, high fructose corn syrup, or anything with nitrites or nitrates. so i eat this apple gate ham they make all sorts of meat that is nitrite and nitrate free, and i don't notice a difference in the taste, actually it tastes fresher. also theirs no preservatives which is a good thing but it only lasts 4 days after you open it then. ive been looking forever for hotdogs without any of that crap in them, thanks ill have to try them out.

Raw fudge: equal parts cacao powder, extra virgin coconut oil, and honey, then just stick it in the freezer.
Tasty and sin-free. :3

Mmm, sounds good Dottie. I don't cook a lot of easy food. Though a favorite snack of mine for what ever reason is this : cutting the top off of a bulb of garlic, put it on a pile of salt smother it in olive oil and bake it for 20 mins. It's good I swear.

what about the skins? do they peel off easier after you bake it?

Boiling eggs then slicing it in smaller pieces and putting them in round white bread (don't know the name) with some green olives, lettuce and ketchup or chilli sauce. Ahh i'm craving eggs right now :O

We made tacos recently, and I actually had this crazy idea to sort of make a salad (not really a true "taco" salad) out of a crunchy taco shell, lettuce, sour cream, and bacon bits (the taco meat was gone so I wanted to try something else). I ended up just spreading the sour cream, lettuce and bits on top of one half of a broken taco shell, and eating it that way, like cheese on crackers :D It tasted just as I expected it was - it was delicious! :D

I loooooove sour cream, oh man.

Using up leftovers in the fridge is pretty much my favorite easy food. If I have leftover chicken, I'll just shred it up and make chicken salad and put it over mixed greens rather than bread. Tuna is always a quick go-to for me too. And sometimes I'll use potato/sweet potato chips instead of bread too.

When I used to eat pork, I loved taking leftover pork roast and shredding it and then throwing it in a pan with some chopped onions, sliced mushrooms, sliced carrots (like julienne cut), a little chopped garlic, and saute it with a little olive oil. Then I'd season it with a little rosemary, thyme, salt, pepper, a splash of orange juice, and a little bit of soy sauce. Then I'd put it in a gluten free wrap and kinda make a little taco out of it. It was AMAZING and super fast.

If I don't have any leftovers, and I really don't feel like cooking much, that's basically where stir fry comes in. I basically just chop up and saute whatever vegetables I have in some olive oil, season with salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder (if no onions), ginger, soy sauce and then put over cellophane noodles. I use mung bean noodles and they cook in the microwave within 5 mins.; I just put some water and the noodles in a bowl and let it steam/simmer on high.

^ Oh I would love to try this!

Who doesn't like talking about food? :D

What are some of your favorite easy snacks/meals/desserts to make?

One of my favorites is home fries. Just chop up potatoes and throw 'em in the pan with some oil, easy fried yumminess.

I had that for lunch with a smoked ham and tomato sandwich, yummo! :)

i just made this up, working with what i had in the kitchen, and it was so good.

preheat oven: 450 degrees

put these in a medium sized casserole dish:

* 5 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
* 1 yam - cubed
* 1 potato - cubed
* raspberry vinaigrette dressing - generously drizzle this all over.

bake for ~ 1hr, covered, turning the chicken over halfway through.
