Facing your fears

I'm going clubbing tonight with a mate this gives me bad anxiety but I'm going to do it anyway because I want to tackle this phobia head on and beat it. I do not believe in giving up and I believe in fighting your fears or facing your fears in order to one day be comfortable and enjoy these situattions.

Face your fear is the best advice anyone can give especially in this situation. Practice makes perfect go for it, whats the worst that can happen.
Do your mates know about your situation or they just think your quite/shy?

My mate doesn't know I have a condition although I have explained to her I have social phobia. I don't think she quite understands. She knows I am very quiet but she accepts me as I am so thats good.
I just get paranoid that people are all looking at me all the time and everywhere I go. Its a horrible feeling. Probably they are looking cos thats what people do but I don't like it. Anyway as youu say practice makes perfect and the more I do it the more I get used to it.
I'm on seroxat and risperdal for my illness

I try to face the fears but i would have a large wine before to chill me out.My friends dont have a clue! They have all recently got boyfriends and say to me oh wait for someone to become addicted to your fab personality! I just think yeah ok.How long would they support sa xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
