I just saw this now, thats incredible kiwong! Congratulations!!!:)

Thanks so much Jewel, it was something I had dreamt of for a long time. Replica who visited this thread has also run a marathon and a Half Ironman Triathlon that's impressive!

Good luck with the running, it is going pretty by the sound of a 31 km week.

It's good to be back in the thread with fellow athletes.

Well, I've still been having injury problems, but the doc said i can run on what looks like plantar fascitis that is healing up on my heel very slowly. So, I've been playing basketball.

I've been doing line-drills every saturday, so this saturday I'm planning on doing 8 line drills with pretty short breaks.

Hopefully my heel will get to 100% before next running season starts and maybe I can actually run 5ks again! It's been like 2 years since i've had the non-injuries to do that.

I just finished doing 200 rounds of hoola hooping. A year ago when I was 20 lbs heavier, I couldn't even do 30. I'm proud of myself and will try everything to maintain my current weight.

Well done Jaim38, and ukmale

That's a busy schedule, Joule.

10km from me this morning. Hard yards where I live, very cold.

Replica, who used to post on here is going well, with triathlons

ooh nice to see this thread revived. Monday I did combat training, Tuesday I did a bootcamp, wednesday I did a spinning class and today was ballet.

Now that's how you exercise! I love the variety you have, I wish I did more than the occasional sit-up here and there.

Today I walked and ran .4 miles on a treadmill (probably translates to .5 miles if running on pavement). It was basically HIIT and afterwards I was so tired, dizzy, and disoriented. I made so many mistakes including burning my pot for dinner. But I tried to force myself to focus and it got better. Today was definitely different because I usually don't feel this way after I run. But it must be the temperature because it's 102 degrees outside so it's real hot.

Nice distance!!! Im thinking about starting back running. A few months off from it though with the particularly bad weather but now is ideal for outdoorsyness again,.itll be tough the first few times though. It really is its own kind of fitness isnt it.

It'd be ideal weather in your part of the world. Wet, rainy and cold where I live, and I am struggling to get out the door. Hope to do 10km today sometime.

I find getting out the door, and the first couple of kilometres the toughest part of running. Once I get through that I am glad I made the effort.

I reckon Australia's winter weather isn't too bad, and I am soft to complain about it.

25km from me in 2:02:16, better than expected I haven't run that long for a while. It was wet and rainy, not so bad once I got going.

Good luck with it Laure15, slow and steady is the way to go.

joule and Kiwong you two must be in phenomenal shape!

I just had a breakthrough and realized that pullups aren't just a more challenging form of chinups, and that diamond pushups aren't necessarily a more challenging form of standard pushups--- so I'm doing all four now, and I've realized part of the reason that my arms look weird is because I've only been working my triceps.

Good luck with exercises Odo.

I'm in a lot better shape than I was 6 years ago.

10km from me, not sure what time, left my Garmin at work. Really nice conditions to run, sunny and cool, but not cold.
