Ever happen to you?

Ever hesitate a little for some reason when people ask you the simplest questions? Like when someone asks me my age, or even my name, it takes me second and I go "um", as if I'm caught off guard, and I feel like an idiot. Does this always happen to anyone else here? Do you think this relates to social phobia at all?

Not so much my name, but my age. I will forever be 21, lol. I just turned 25 a few weeks ago, so it's still fresh. I think that gets some getting used to. But, I always feel a little younger than my actual age, so I do have to scramble for this answer some time.

Anytime someone asks me a question i usually say 'um' because my brain is in hyperdrive whenever i'm around someone or in public.

this happens to me all the time and i feel like an idiot. I just finished university with a BA and on the Dean's honour roll, but I feel all the time because of SAD I present myself to be quite stupid when in fact I'm not stupid at all. This costs me job interviews, friendships, etc. It is difficult.
