I'm not on strong drugs like the ones you've mentioned. I'm just on Lexapro and Clonazepam. The experiences I've had being on all kinds of different medications isn't bad. It doesn't f*ck me up or change who I am. I'm just more calm and less anxious. My depression is sticking around for some reason, but I'd rather be depressed than worrying all the damn time.

I think everybody reacts to medications differently. Some people get strong reactions from it, and others don't. Some of them help people loads, and it won't even affect others. So, it's all about the individual. When I'm on my Clonazepam, I'm very tired and almost feel high. So, it temporarily affects my mood and such. But that's about it. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. :(

It is definitely dependent on the individual as to how you will react to them, I personally am on 150mg Effexor XR once daily and .5 milligrams of Lorazepam twice daily, and without them I am not even capable of leaving my bed from such severe panic attacks, I wouldnt even be able to type this, so personally they have helped a lot! as far as the psychoactive effects, I've done every illegal drug that you can think of and abused prescription drugs as well in the past, and it is nothing like them, I mean most of the pills that cause you to calm down i.e. anything from the benzodiazepine class (ativan, klonopin, xanax)works as a central nervous system depressant (very similar to the effects of alcohol) so until your body starts to adjust to taking them regularly you will (varies person to person) have an effect that I can really only compare to as a single hit from a joint of mid grade marijuana, but fairly quickly depending on your body fat percentage that will dissipate and you are left feeling like you again (or at least that is how it has worked for me) and as far as the Effexor which is used for depression, it is basically your average serotonin re-uptake inhibitor (basically it keeps the chemical in your brain that makes you happy stay in a part of your brain longer that it usually would to get more out of it, it doesn't create it) other drugs like this are prozac, lexapro, and so on and so on, only effexor will also **** with your norapenephrine as well, so it is basically like mike tyson if prozac is steve erkel, and as far as the affects, again it takes about a month for the full effects to set it, and you end up feeling completely like yourself

(in summary, just talk to your doctor, but take everything with a grain of salt, because every drug effects everyone differently, but unless you are using it for an extended period of time like over years and years you in all likelihood (unless it is a very hardcore drug) have any permanent changes in brain chemistry or personality)

I have to try Seredyn and 5-HTP someday, especially with those presentations coming up, but I'm gonna try it without. If I need to order now it's maybe too late already and I wanna try it first. I already did Valerian which is useless, but the recommend dose is 2 capules max with dinner. So I'll try to take some more very soon maybe it does help in very large doses.

I'm on Dizipam which is simlar to valium, maybe even the same. They do sedate you very much, and even the next day you can still feel kinda floaty. And they should only be used short term, and not back to back as you can build tolerance to them very quickly.
