does some of you feel that if you were beautiful

you wouldn't have dealing with SA?

you don't have to be really "ugly" or actually really beautiful to feel that, it's an inner feeling when you just think that you're ugly and the comments you sometimes get (or don't get) from others doesn't help to change this, and you blame your SA on your physical appearance.

i feel that if i were really beautiful i wouldn't have SA. maybe it's my excuse and maybe it's true.

does some of you know what i'm talking about? it's very hard for me to explain myself properly cause english's not my first language but i just had to figure it out.

Hmmm..... Do you have SA because you think you're ugly, or do you think you're ugly because you have SA? I'm inclined to think it's the latter. I personally think I'm average looking, but think that even if I were say "Hollywood beautiful" my shy personality would still be there holding me back from talking to people, and not knowing how to interact.

NO. I feel ugly on the inside, from the way people treated me. Looks got nothing to do with this. It's how i feel, how I see myself. if I looked pretty or ugly I would still have SA

My low self-esteem in junior high (because junior high is where everything counts) came partly from the belief that I wasn't good-looking enough. This is what eventually led to my six miserable years of life with SA. If I had been beautiful, I probably wouldn't have crashed and burned like I did and I probably wouldn't have to know what SA is.

However, if I was beautiful I would also have a very different personality and a very different outlook on life, and I'm not sure I'd like that. I may not be one of Maxim 100 Hottest Women of the Year anytime soon... or ever, but I think I'm happy the way I am. There's really no sense in wishing to be more beautiful because some people don't think you're not good enough for them. Screw those people - they're not good enough for you.
