The author should have taken at least a minute of their life to go on dictionary.com and look up what "introvert" means. They make it sound like we're a bunch of boring drunkards or something.

I agree its absolutely terrible... I am really sorry to put you all through it... :) It was just the last line that kind of annoyed me the most

*If you strike out again, you can always wander back to the food area where some poor, awkward introvert will be only too happy for you to strike up a conversation.*

It just seems to me that the author is implying that introversion is somehow socially unacceptable, and that its "bad" if you happen to be a little quieter or shy.

exactly - it's that whole negative encouragement thing that is the cornerstone of our consumer culture

"Brand X sucks! Don't be a loser - buy Brand Y!!"

What in the-? I find that statement to be pretty rude. "Some poor, awkward introvert." Yeah because being introverted is such a crime, such an awful thing that no one wants to deal with. -.-

I was fine until I reached that line. Now I just kind of want to smack whoever the person is that wrote it.


Oh, but I love the last comment at the end of the page. XD
Now go find that introvert, they might actually have something intelligent to say.
