Does anyone ever get obsessions for specific words.

Hi, so I was wondering if anyone on this fourm ever obsesses over specific words. By obssess, I do not mean anything clinical, just some some ineffable desire to use it and some ineffable pleasure when you do.

For instance, I have been obsessing over the word hat--especially when it is written in capital letters (HAT) or with one leading capital (Hat).

Whenever I stumble across a really good word I wish I could use it in a poem. But I'm not much of a poet anymore. So when I stumble on any word I usually curse it then brush the dirt off my hands and knees and go about my business.

All the time.. Mine are currently ''Rather'' ''Utterly'' Considering'' ''Regarding'' and ''Douchbaggery'' even though that last one isn't a real word. ::p:

Of course it is. I believe it's Olde English, as in...

"Gadzooks! I shall suffer no more of thy douchbaggery! Choose thy weapon sir, and prepare to defend thyself!"
