I got a date. In fact, I got about four dates (three with one dude, and one with another).

I just have difficulty getting a boyfriend. =(

a date ? you do know this is a SA site dont you ???. personally i'm over thinking there is something weird about still being single especially at christmas which makes me cringe because the predicable question is asked "so are you seeing anyone"? arrgghh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

do you guys ever use online dating websites? a friend of mine pretty much only dates through OkCupid...which i guess is working out okay for her. "dating" is kind of weird to begin with and then meeting someone online and showing up somewhere for a date...i'd be so anxious i'd have a heart attack. i think the best way to go about it is to just hang out with someone, rather than the whole candlelit dinner thing. too much pressure. you don't really get to know someone like that anyway.

Never been on any dates. But I suppose it's my own fault for not "throwing myself out there" I don't think I'm old enough yet to do the dating scene but I want to try it.

Luke, I'm assuming you were born in 1993. If you were, you have plenty of time to "throw yourself out there".

Never been on a date, and I would like to keep avoiding them, if possible.
I think the best thing would be to fall in love with a best friend, so there would be no need for stupid "promotional" dates. The problem is I don't have any female friends.

This thread made me laugh sorry, its that I hardly talk to women I don't know, let alone a date. In my prespective it would be a disaster.

I've dated two guys off of PoF (Plenty of Fish), but neither of them turned into relationships. I kinda feel like with this whole online dating thing you're practically forcing yourself to like the person you're going out with, and I wish things could just be more natural like when I had my old high school crushes. This is one of the reasons why I'm heading back to therapy.

Hmm I want to try PoF, it seems a lot of people have had success with it, but as I've said earlier I am too young (Born in 1993 you see) I will wait another year or two and then try it!

i was on plenty of fish a few years back and i got a reply.
i was so exited when i logged on to my msn, only to find out it was from a guy!
im not sexist or anything, i just prefere woman thats all.
