I have cried a lot over the last couple of years and I felt relieved when I did. I wish I could cry some more because now I just feel numb and trapped.

I sometimes have crying sessions. Usually when I want to cry, I can't. I end up feeling, like SilentBird said, "numb and trapped." When I do cry, I'm alone. Hardly ever do I cry in front of people. I don't know why, I think it's because I'm so self-conscious?

Every few months I "pop" and have one of those deep cries. I always feel much better afterward, though, having gotten my frustrations out of my system.

I have not cried in a long time, but when I was being bullied and stuff at school I cried every day (except weekends since I didnt go to schook then) it was like a routine thing, soon as I got home I would go to my room sit on my bed grab a pillow and cry into it (so family couldn't hear me) I'd feel better once I let it all out!

When I really cry, I have what I call meltdowns. It feels like coughing up a blind pain.

Lately, every day. But these crying spells are different... emotional detoxification, realizing and feeling things for the first times and the beginning of letting them free. I have not felt, emotionally, my entire life and it's when I am doing things that allow me to feel again that all the feelings have to hit me consistently for a bit I suppose.

almost every day lately. i've been going through a rough time over these past few months due to where my SA has gotten me. to be honest crying does make me feel better though, even if it is temporary.

Yeah, once in a while, when I think about certain people/situations or when my emotions get the better of me. I usually feel better afterwards.

I'll have meltdowns when I've put a lot of effort in trying to accomplish something and then fail completely due to my SA. I had a recent one today too where I kinda got fired from my job because I was so inflexible with my schedule. This whole week I developed severe anxiety because I kept worrying about not having enough time to finish my essays and study for finals b/c of work, so I asked for reduced hours and a day off next week to work on an essay which made my managers really unhappy. Though...I guess that has more to do with generalized anxiety than social anxiety. Still, it sucked. It made me feel really incompetent.

Crying makes me feel better most of the time. I don't know why it doesn't for other times though. During my winter break last year, I cried so much for so many days it made me nauseous.

The last one I had was a perhaps a couple months back, I can't remember. A jerk I knew from sometime back suddenly called me up to talk to me on the phone. Tears of frustration.
