Can't help trembling again

Today I had to stand up and speak in front of a group of people. Even though I just had to read according to what I already wrote down, I still couldn't help trembling. My legs trembled so bad that everyone was glancing at them. Guess that's the consequence of trying to avoid as much as I could to speak up in front of people. I have had the same experience a couple of times so the only good news is I got used to the awkwardness. Always telling myself that this is how my life has to be...

Even though they may have noticed how nervous you were, they probably didn't really think about it.

In school I would notice the same, not give it a second thought.

The more you do it, the easier it will be for you.

Good luck

I can relate. Presentations were difficult for me back in school. There was one where I was so nervous my whole body was trembling. Almost everyone was laughing. Of course now, I'll never be getting any job where that crap is required. Just sticking to manual labor type jobs.

Unfortunately for me, presentations can't be avoided in my job. Hope I can figure out a way to overcome my fear. It's so intense now.

Oh of course, I wasn't implying you could. Just saying I can relate to that particular fear. I hope you find some way to deal with it as well. The only type of thing i can think of is therapy and practicing speaking in front of others.

Sorry if that's no help but I wish you luck.

The more you force yourself to do it, the easier it gets. You also can't beat yourself up for shakin' and tremblin'. Focus on being proud that you did it to begin with. Always focus on the positive side of what you just did because it was a victory.
