Buspirone (Buspar) side effects?
I was diagnosed with social anxiety about 2 years ago, the doctor put me on citalopram 10mg i took it for about a year and it never seemed to work, so I just gave up on medication. The other day I couldn't take it anymore living with my anxiety so the doctors prescribed me buspirone. That night I decided to start taking it I was fine for a while but when I stood up to walk to the kitchen I felt these weird jolts go through my body, I didn't thing anything of it, went to the kitchen, and by the time I was walking back to my room I felt 10 times worse. I was dizzy, nauseous, and the weird feelings wouldn't go away. I finally passed put and woke up 2 hours later feeling perfectly fine. I decided to try it again the next day to see if the side effects continued...and they did but worse. I had to force myself to throw up and still didn't feel better until I slept it off. Has anyone else had bad reactions from taking buspirone?
