Barbies, definitely. I could play with Barbies from the time I woke up until I had to go to bed.
I liked Legos and Nintendo/Super Nintendo/Sega Genesis/Gameboys as well.

i enjoyed just playing with bugs and spiders and stuff... so tweezers, pliers and plastic containers i guess?

I didn't get many toys as a kid,my parents didn't have the money,well actually my Dad pissed it up the wall on booze.

But I remember one time,I think my Mum had got her benefits back dated or something,and at the time I was obsessed with the Teenage Mutant Turtles :cool: She took me to Argos and bought me all 4 of them.

I so wasn't use to it..I couldn't understand why I was getting "presents" when it wasn't Christmas and it made me so happy and is one of the nicest memories I have of my Mum from when I was a kid.

Lego rules too,I wish I could go back to being a kid now I have money just to buy all that stuff I wanted hehe.

Stuffed animals were a big thing for me when i was younger, now im happy to give loads of them away, with 3 young girls in the house there are now hundreds of them, i give them away to anyone who asks for them now lol..

this however was something i never ever left behind, and still have to this day

This is poochie, it was a Mattel creation lol, very popular in the 80s, there was a mini movie out too, i have it knocking about somewhere on VHS LOL

These were another big thing for me when i was a kid, still are i guess, i will buy one now and again (only if they are old ones though)

My hubby would still buy me any that he can find which were around in the 80s

Aaah, yes. I'm fairly sure I did have one, along with a number of other nifty, "girl's" toys like a Carebear, a Popple, a My Little Pony, and a Rainbow Bright character. The 80's was the best :D
