Go to your profile, there you can choose a pic for your 'avatar', they have stacks to choose from.
You can always add your own smileys like this one:
from this site:

All you have to do is copy the whole IMG tag and paste it into the post you are making.
In your profile you can make a signature, you can use the IMG tags or write something. I have hosted a picture of my dogs at a free site which gives you IMG tags when you upload your picture, to do that go to this site:

Its funny cause i always would rather play with my dogs. It's when i actually smile........a lot! And, it's so funny cause i dont know if i've ever posted this before but it's the only time i can socialize comfortably is at dog events. I go crazy chatty. It's really weard to me. I feel completly different....(i still find myself studdering, or choking up,if someone asks ME a question, but i can ask all kinds of questions to others) I love dogs, and espacially am obsesssed with my own.

Sorry, I've only just noticed your post. It seems that many of us enjoy the Animations . . . . I know that I do.
GetSmile works well. The initial smilies are ok, but you can add many more animations, by doing a search and then drag and drop into the programme.
Why don't you register,and join us !

Hi everybody, and thanks so much for all your replies & advice,and for all the pictures and hearing about everyone's pets is awesome, too! I love ALL the pictures, but I got to tell you, that 'mouse-mowse' especially is GREAT! :lol: That's looks like me when I get anxious, I don't know where to turn! :?
I guess if I want to experiment and try adding pictures myself, I'll need to register... Thanks for the encouragement Mowse!
Maybe some more members will consider posting more pictures at the "Photo Gallery" here, too? You can put larger sized pictures (of pets, etc.) in that option, can't you? "hint-hint", suttle, huh?
I know we are here to discuss bashfullness, SAD, etc., but these delightful diversions from it all are just splendid !! :wink:
