I work, but, I'm in my bed room most of the time. Go in kitchen to get what I need. I have tv, tablet and a phone in bedroom, lol

Depends, if you can do everything on you computer / telephone then yes.

I personally rather lie down with my computer on my stomach than sit on a chair doing the same thing.

Short answer : I find this normal.

Hie yer hence from me heath!
Yep! Most of the year, in fact... :giggle:

Like you, the only times I leave my room is to go to kitchen or bathroom. Or if I've got a ticket for a live event. Other than that, it's basically as Jungle described in his post.

Yeah that's pretty much me. Wish I could get out there and work but so far no luck. At least I would be out of the house more. Damn fears have held me back from almost everything for way too long.

Since bed is the only place in house where i can sit & use my computer (aside from loo), that is where i am for most of each day. But i am trying to get outside more often to get some stimulation, exercise, change of scenery, etc.

to pass the time in my room alone.

Those lyrics resonate with me.

Its relaxing. My neighbour's are nuts too. Door slamming, foot stomping. I can hear one complaining all the time, she has no job and makes her dog bark when home. Please get some medication that works !

Yeah because I dont have my own place lol. Im usually sequestered to my room so that family will leave me in peace. I probably wont do that if I get an apartment though because Im always hot now, and during the summer my room turns into Dantes Inferno.

Idiot neighbour's decides to in apt above me and make noise too. These ppl are mentally infected, lol

Live alone. I've set up my lounge like my bedroom. I only use my bedroom for sleeping (which kind of helped beak down my insomnia). But yeah, it's my kingdom alright. Everything I need, even a bar fridge. Should really buy a treadmill...

Five years ago, my life was bedroom-orientated. Get up mid-day, breakfast, in the room to read, pick up my niece from school, then bedroom for laptop/internet use, dinner, then laptop then TV, then internet before bed. It became a running joke about my life in my loft but it was hiding more worrying moods and feelings that no-one really picked up on..

Been living in my apartment for about a month or so now. And I find living on your own is basically relaxing most of the time where I live. But going out in the community too is helpful to get my mind off things.

I live with my family so I like to stay in my room where I can be away from them. I don't like being disturbed. If I'm not home though I'm fine I just really hate going anywhere in my house.

Yeah I do actually. I laptop, use my smartphone, tablet and watch a hell lot of netflix. I rather want to do more outside, but I don't have many friends because of my Social Anxiety.

I spend copious amounts of time in my semi-underdeveloped office room. You can find me on my computer or sitting at the computer while partaking in various digital activities on my smartphone. I don't spend much time in my bedroom and only go in to sleep, apply makeup and study decor that I've recently purchased and wonder (still months later) where to place it.

I'm certain some neighbour's complain about everything. At this point I keep to myself. The neighbour's can't do anything. I got home from work. Neighbor goes full retard. Dropped stuff on floor above bedroom, then pounds on floor. I have heard her go nuts cause I'm always in my room. It's poor insulation. I don't care, she has no job Let's her dog bark when home. I hear complain about me for that reason all the time. She's nuts

I know I'm off topic, it's its related because me sitting my room causes my crazy neighbour to snap. When I use my kitchen, neighbour's below me snap sometines. I hear them, I don't care. I realize they can do nothing. That's why I started this thread. The setup of my apt. It's an old house. My kitchen is above their living area. Floor creaks like mad. My living room is above their bedroom. Creaks like mad. I have them complain so much, I don't care.

I once lived in a place in which the floors creaked quite a lot, and i was self-conscious about it so i tried to step around the most creaky places. I knew those below could hear the creaks. I wonder if there's any way to fix them? What causes them? Could you put some extra nails in to stop the creaking?

It's never been suggested. I complained once, it caused problems , but they were upset with me before that, lol.
