Am i actually invisible

I was playing flag football at a picnic and everyone was getting tackled except me. I had the flag and went across with no problem. I had to open my mouth to say I went across and no one noticed me at all and I was standing there for almost a minute. I should feel bad but I don't care too much. It was just one of those awkward moments of my life and I thought I’d share.

Life is full of these moments this is Defo one of them. Well done for not letting it eat away at you. It good ov you to post this, better out than in :)

who were u playing with? wre they people u knew well or not so much

thats pretty awkward... and rude...

but u know i have a story.. i know someone... who is extremely shy and doesn't talk.. i know a couple actually. and their personality also makes me very terrified of them. to the point of pretending not to see them or pretending they dont exist. because interaction has always been so awkward..

so maybe there was a little bit of that going on..

if ppl view u like that, they may be scared of you and pretend not to see you

Maybe you know me? Lol. On the outside i act exactly like this and i guess i scare people :( I'm afraid of interrupting or saying something offensive. Also afraid of getting ignored which happens since i don't talk loud and clear enough.

I would have done the same. You wouldn't want people to see a set of clothing with no-one inside floating around the girls changing rooms, they'll think its haunted and will find somewhere else to change.

Yeah I certainly know that feeling:(. One time I was going through the security in the Vatican City. There was a big line up and when it was my turn the guard turned his back completely,he didnt check my bag and the sign turned red as I went through the scanner. I just kept walking and the guard nor anybody behind me noticed. It was pretty depressing. I have way too many other stories about being invisible as well,thats why I have this username

I wouldn't mind being invisible at time, though I'd probably give other uses to my superpowers besides winning at flag football :p

I would love to be invisible, as it has many good things.

I am invisible on the forums. But, the Mods can still see me :cool:

Be thankful it didn't work. If I had such a power it would be used badly and I will die as the ultimate pervert. I'd be teleported straight to hell with a special room just for me.

Sometimes people are too in the moment and they do not pay attention to others. I agree with dyingtolive if people do not know you well or do not get a strong impression they tend to act awkward.

I know what you mean. They call me a cat because I walk soft and swift, I can say to people "Hay I am walking and coming" and they still do not hear me. A joke was made about me having a bell around my neck when I walk through the house.

I agree with this. I guess things like it happen at times. I'm sorry, good on you though for not letting it get to you.
