Why do we have to suffer

I wake up each day with the same question on my mind. Why I have to suffer. Why do I care so much about what other people think about me. Why do I hide.

I once was told, "never let fear control you, yet your life". Easy for others to say. It's sooo hard and painful. You know why because no one knows how you feel. Not your mother, not your bestfriend. I am filled with soo much emotions. DEPRESSING emotions. Agonizing emotions that I can't seem to get rid of. Im crying as I write this because IT'S DIFFICULT, it's difficult to manage life. Waking up everyday knowing that you suffer from a condition that has no CURE is difficult. What are we to do. Why do we have to suffer.

Everyone suffers.
It can make good things seem amazing-- or it can numb you completely.
Suffering is a part of life.

It can be very frustrating trying to get someone to understand what you are going through. You can explain it a million different ways and people simply can't connect to it unless that experience it themselves. Trying to wade through all the emotions and frustrations can be exhausting and contemplating doing it over and over for the rest of time can feel like an unbearable burden. I still struggle every day with it and it eats at me and gets me down some days but if I just stay busy and focus on the few things I enjoy then it feels less impossible.

None of us asked for the hands we got dealt. it sucks, it hurts, and to some, myself included, it serves some purpose in our lives. What can somthing like this be useful for?. Ill let you know when i figure it out.

On the opposite side, this can be a good thing. some of the best scientific minds in the history of humanity have been socially avoident.

Sometimes its alot easier to think of the immediate, rather than focus on the long term and try to imagine how were ever going to survive another 60 to 100 years like this. when i feel like that, i just think of tomorrow. how do you eat an elephant?. one piece at a time.

We are all here for you lonely :).

We all suffer because of ignorance , this illusory self image we create , wanting things happening , not wanting things happening , attachments , aversion , craving , clinging , not understanding a thing because we don't even try to observe what is really going on inside of us .

You are constantly interacting with the objects of the external world with your sens organs and your mind . With this illusory self you created , you form this ego , and anything aimed at this ego is going to affect you because you have a tremendous amount of attachment to it .

Also a weak mind will wander incessantly in imaginary thoughts , fear scenarios that don't even exists for example , yet the sensations they will bring will be real and your mind will instantly label those sensations as BAD , UNPLEASANT sensations and you will feel miserable.

Sensations are just sensations , thoughts are just thoughts , words are just words , emotions , feelings .. You don't have to react to them !

Learn to observe your own body and mind , the interaction with each other , by doing something as simple as observing you can become truly happy !

I think anxiety is a kind of protection mechanism that has got out of control. It is based around sensitivity and low self esteem, developed from past situations where you have been hurt.

I try harder to enjoy the things I know I can, to spite this disease. Take that anxiety.

I think - Anxiety is a set of physical symptoms , triggered by thoughts .

Some such as fight or flight are a protection mechanism like you said , that gets triggered at the wrong moment by thoughts of fear/danger.

It is impossible to stop thoughts from coming , the subconscious is filled with past events ,

What can be done to avoid anxiety symptoms is to ignore those thoughts , focus the mind elsewhere , the mind can only be focused at one point , when you do two things at once , it constantly changes from one object to the other very fast .

But , i'm thinking some of us have hyperactive nervous systems or some other physical difference that makes us more prone to physical symptoms , i'm pretty sure alot of people have negative thoughts but don't experience anxiety attacks .

We suffer because we want.
We want to be normal.
We want to be happy.
We want to be accepted.
We want to feel good in our own skin.
We want to be in someones else's shoes but not ours.
If we didn't want things, we would be happy. And that my friend is impossible.
Unless of course, you get what you want.

Waking up everyday knowing that you suffer from a condition that has no CURE is difficult. What are we to do. Why do we have to suffer.

There's no cure, but treatment is effective and you can learn to adjust your thoughts to relative normalcy and live a relatively normal, satisfying life. It depends on your situation, of course, and whether you have other conditions as well, but the basic Social Anxiety is well understood and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is very effective.
