to shy to wear shorts

I'm 12 years old and I don't wear shorts in the hot weather.
I just feel like everyone will be staring at my legs and i'll feel
naked wearing them. My Step Mother wears shorts everday all summer long and is constanly nagging me and asking me how I can stand wearing long pants & jeans all summer long and that I should start wearing shorts in the heat. with the hot weather coming soon. I was shopping with my Stepmom at the mall today and she was picking out some new pairs of shorts for herself and she told me to pick out some shorts for myself too. I told her I don't wear shorts. She blew up and said
thats it's ridculous to wear Pants all summer long when you have nothing wrong with your legs. and she said this summer you are going to get over this and wearing shorts won't be a problem anymore. you'll will actually land up loving wearing shorts. I should have put my foot down last summer.

I have the exact same problem..I feel bad wearing t-shirts too..all summer im stuck wearing sweathers and long pants..i suffer all summer!...ahh I hate summer!..now global warming is approching..what great timing..

I don't have a problem wearing t-shirts or tanks or showing my arms in public. It's just showing my legs in public, I just get so nerevous just thinking about wearing shorts. like people will stare at my legs and I like a feel naked. I can't explain the feeling. all last summer everyone's always asking me ain't you hot wearing pants and why aren't you wearing shorts bluh bluh .... :cry: plus my Stepmom is always nagging me too and now she's really on my case :cry:

Im not being funny, but its highly probale that the reason why u lot r shy, is because u have to many hang ups about pointless things. if everyone had these sort of hang ups, no one would leave the house, nuffin would get done etc etc.

'too shy to pluck my eyebrows' know what i mean? lol

its highly likely u r the prick. i get out n about.......... ouch.

Giving no advice and picking on a 12 year old girl fits my definition of a prick.

Very interesting since you aren't "out and about" but in and wasting our time.

With that user name I don't think it's much of a stretch to say you have plenty of your own emotional problems and you're probably 12 yourself.

Nobody is in need of a prick running around that feels superior to them.

In my defense i did not realise she was 12 and i am sorry to the girl coz its a arkward age i thought she was 21 lol, but not u im afraid.

Ok lets look at the facts, all the bullitens titled something about what people r too shy to do etc have like 200 hits, ones titled about something to do with advice, for u people, have like 10 hits? or replied with but but but but but. not being funny either, but why does my name 'this is why im hot' suggest i have emotional problems? lmao. thers someone on here now caled 'lonely thinker' u see the difference there? u here because u want more self confidence, yet ur putting me down coz i have that? hmmmmmmmm......... yeh ok.
