Have a few things on my mind and I am at a stage on not knowing what to do next. Problem is am dead nervous on the situation of going to America for a 2 week holiday. I went last year as I had thought I was strong enough to cope with it, as I had been doing well locally at home for a few years. Well it prove to be wrong, had a nightmare on a few occasions especially when comming home, just being in a confined environment such as the airport as an example.
Recently I was in Brighton for a 2 day game conference, part of work. I had some good moments but mainly it was a total nightmare, so mentally and physically exhausted. I just give up on trying to remain positive that I just remained so distant to everything including my work mates. Wasn't a pleasant experience. The main problem was the airport, trains, Brighton exceptionally hot weather at the time.
You may be asking why am I putting myself through this again, I even ask myself that. I know I can get something positive out of it as I have done with other trips and events in the past. But I do not want my SA and my HH to get the better of me, I just want to keep trying, I just want to be able to live my life in the best way I can.
Been looking into things that have been mentioned on the forums, such as Robinul and wipe pads etc. (Never knew such a thing HH existed in medical terms, just thought it was my fault). Been to the GP and had 4 blood samples, prescribed anhydrol forte, which burned the shite out of me, my skin is very sensitive. I asked about Robinul, which is on the NHS and can be prescribed which I was surprised to hear as I thought it wasn't. He didn't want to prescribe it, he wanted to refer me to a dermatologist so I could be under a specialist supervision, which is a few months away. In the mean time I am stuck on what I should do for taking precautionary measures for my holiday.
Note: I am new to this forum and I may not know of other alternatives that may help me. I would love to hear from anyone with any suggestions or advice that could help me.
Thank you for taking time to read this post.
