Games to play..

I'm wanting to find some new computer games to play (pc or tablet). What i would ideally want is something that provides similar constant "stimulus" as the game tetris (which i'm kind of a bit sick of, as that's the only game i play); but i like the pacifying/mind-numbing quality of the game. I've tried to find games on the tablet, but almost none are satisfying; i don't know why that is.
I guess i'm also open to PS2/PSP games, as i have those consoles (just have to find all the bits & hook them up again).
Also, i'm open to web games. Unsure about multi-player tho.
Ps: Emulator games are also an option (but thb they are a pita to get working)

Hello theslowesthand,

There's some game called "Zuma" that I'd recommend if you don't know it yet.

There's also "Papers Please" which I found quite tough, you play as a customs officer of some made up eastern country, and you have to control people's passport and spot anomalies if their passport is to be denied.

I recently saw a streamer on Twitch playing this game:

Save 60% on Tricky Towers on Steam

It's very similar to Tetris and might be right down your alley.

One of my all-time favorite games is FEZ on PC, so I'd recommend that:

Save 50% on FEZ on Steam

As far as PS2 and PSP goes, I always loved playing the God of War games (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZkX3LJDeYQ) and Final Fantasy X (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sCJjHS3I0dY)

As far as web goes, the new Unreal Tournament is free to play (pre-alpha):

For Honor is also I game I consistently watch on Twitch. I'd play it if I had the time, but it's action-packed:

Hello!

I suggest you try the game "Trivia Crack Kingdoms", it is a quiz game where you can choose the theme you want to play with, from specific disciplines such as "art, computer science, math.." to even any other theme you like or know a lot about, as for example a tv series, a video game, etc. It is a two-player game (which make it more enjoyable) where you will have to compete with a random person from around the world (each round or match you start ends after you or your partner answer a certain amount of questions correctly and when you win you get a reward).

It is available on the web for computers and as an app for tablets and cellphones.

In my opinion, it is a game enjoyable for everyone, It's like being on one of those quiz shows, you have limited time to answer.

Hope you like it

Since you like Tetris, maybe you could try the Bust-A-Move (Puzzle Bobble in Japan) series. It's kind of similar to tetris and pretty addictive if you ask me. I'm not sure what all game consoles you have but they have different games in the series across multiple platforms.

I recently downloaded Bust-A-Move-4 on the PS3 for nostalgia. It can be fun to play solo but it's at it's best when playing against another player. Only downside to this version I downloaded is they took out the music for some reason but it's still fun to play.

I've yet to find many games as satisfying as Tetris. Stardew Valley is relaxing, has plenty of replay value and revolves around you managing your time to the last in-game hour. Crypt of the Necrodancer and Nuclear Throne are great if you have a mind for strategic movement and bullet hell. If you like strategy, economy, politics and war you can't go wrong with Mount & Blade Warband. Only other game I enjoy as much as Tetris is Dr. Mario but you've probably played that before.
