Cold sore scars won't go away

Okay... this has become a problem for a couple months now. I've been prone to getting cold sores very easily (especially in winter) and usually my cold sores/scars would naturally heal in time. So far these past few months, I've unfortunately broke out three times on my upper lip. The scabs themselves are gone but now I'm left with three red marks on my upper lip and they haven't seem to fade away. I've been using cocoa butter to moisture my lips but I'm still not seeing any results. I'm eating healthy and drinking plenty of water too. Does anyone know any other ointments/creams I could use that would be good for cold sore scars? Thanks.

I don't know about cold sore scars but i know for cold sores you can rinse with salt and it'll go away. good luck

Zinc vitamin tablets or Zinc Oxide Ointment can help with skin problems and healing.

Vitamin E. Puncture the capsule and apply.

Maybe try some Mederma or Bio Oil. I'd go with the Bio Oil first, I've used both and Mederma made my skin itch. Maybe I'm just sensitive, not sure.
